This event takes place over a Thursday-Friday-Saturday in mid-November each year, and is hosted by a different high school in Anchorage each year on behalf of ASAA. We depart Homer on Wednesday after school, spending three nights in a hotel in Anchorage (most often the Comfort Inn at Ship Creek), and rehearse each day of the festival from 8AM-8PM with meal breaks. The culminating Festival Concert is held at Anchorage West High School Auditorium.
